Ever since I was in 4th grade, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. But not just any teacher, I wanted to be a KINDERGARTEN teacher. Who would have guessed that 14 years later, my dream would be fulfilled? After graduating from Grandville High School in 2005, I ventured to East Lansing to attend Michigan State University. It was at Michigan State that I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education during the Fall of 2009. After graduation, I completed a year long internship in the small town of Zeeland, MI in a 3rd grade classroom. Upon completing my internship, I accepted a job in Bay City, MI, where I have been teaching for the last 4 years (with 3 years teaching Kindergarten).

Not wanting my time as a Spartan to end, I applied to graduate school through Michigan State University. It is with pleasure that I announce my May 2015 graduation with a Masters of Arts degree in Elementary Education.

Outside of teaching and finishing my Master's coursework, my fiancé and I are busy planning our wedding set for August 1st, 2015. On top of wedding planning, we are also in the midst of purchasing our first home, as well as taking care of our rambunctious Corgi, Paddington. Life is wonderful!
